This weekend, 7/11/26 (and next weekend, 7/18/26) will be open to non-FBSN-members. We want you to share these two meeting with your peers, as this is the type of presentation SOS attendees will experience in Louisville, KY this year. 7/11/26 Zoom meeting details are shown below, then for 7/18/26 we will send out details on that meeting where an SOS.26 presenter will be speaking about mental health issues in the church.
You will get (or have already got) an e-mail about this event as well. Please forward that email to any friends or associates you may know who might be interested in this topic or attending SOS.26.
There is nothing like the crime of sexual abuse of a child. It raises the hair on the back of our neck and touches off a firestorm of protective emotions.
When sexual abuse of a child happens in a church, it can be catastrophic. It has, and often should, result in a church’s failure. If that church knew something was happening and did nothing about it, there isn’t a good reason the leadership should be trusted. It is that serious.
Jeff Dalrymple has been fighting in that space for many years. He is the Director of Abuse Prevention & Response on the Southern Baptist Convention’s, Executive Committee.
