All responders, including church safety team members, are subject to a unique form of ongoing stress in their roles. Self-care is often overlooked, but is necessary if we are to be physically, mentally, and spiritually prepared and capable. This session will help identify signs of stress in your team members and yourself, some often unrecognized, and provide strategies to stay healthy and resilient. We will also discuss the important and often overlooked issue of this stress on families and ways to recognize stress and support loved ones.
