Strong church safety ministries do not happen by accident—they depend on clear policies, consistent training, and strong communication. This 4-hour breakout session focuses on the administrative practices that help safety ministries operate effectively while protecting both your safety team members and the church itself.

Participants will learn how written policies, training standards, qualifications, documentation, and team communication create a structured and dependable safety ministry. When these elements are managed well, they reduce confusion during critical incidents, strengthen accountability, and lower risk for the church.

Drawing from years of hands-on experience leading in a large megachurch environment, as well as observations from working with dozens of churches using SecurX (a software application for managing church safety teams), this session explains the why behind strong administrative practices without turning the discussion into a legal seminar.

Designed for safety team leaders and administrators responsible for selection, onboarding, training, and operational management, this course provides practical guidance for building a disciplined, well-organized ministry. The intended outcome is not policy for its own sake, but creating a well-prepared team that protects the flock while faithfully supporting the ministry of the church.
