Those who purchase this additional ticket will attend the Pre-Event at the same venue (Southeast Christian Church) on Tuesday & Wednesday July 21 & 22, 2026 from 8 am - 5 pm both days prior to the main event. This course is limited to 60 attendees

Ormsby Ave. Louisville, KY 40203) on Wednesday July 22, 2026 from 8 am - 12 pm, on day prior to the main event. This is a 3+ hour block of instruction - your opportunity to get hands on time with their weapons in a 4 hour intensive breakout at the range near Southeast Christian Church.

The difference is that if you can create a culture of training, team members are pushing leadership to train them instead of leadership needing to fight to make training happen at all, much less routinely, This class will start on the mats with gun defense and move to RBTs.

This is a 4 hour block of instruction teaching students how to initiate contact with people who have unknown intentions. This includes interactive scenario-based skills of verbal agility, managing distance and non-diagnostic hand to hand motor skills.

This four-hour training delivers practical, hands-on medical training based on the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), developed by the United States Special Operations Forces and approved by our Trauma Medical Director at Defend Systems.

Companion training to Conflict Intervention and De-Escalation. This hands on class allows students to immerse themselves in scenario based training utilizing skills of Authentic Empathy. This stress inoculation training is developed to test communication and problem solving skills in real world scenarios.

This presentation begins with considerations for armed responders to Active Shooters. This includes topics such as gear, mental preparation, issues armed responders should expect to encounter while fighting the Active Shooter, and the attack environment. It then details how to design and execute live-fire training to prepare armed responders to quickly counter an Active Shooter.

Strong church security is built long before a crisis ever happens. This 4-hour breakout focuses on sound safety ministry operations that protect both people and the church itself. Participants will learn why policies, training standards, qualifications, and documentation matter—and how consistent, well-managed practices reduce risk, confusion, and exposure during critical incidents. Drawing from real conversations with church insurance professionals and hands-on experience overseeing safety ministries across multiple churches, this session frames the “why” behind the work without turning it into a legal seminar. This course is designed for leaders responsible for selection, onboarding, training oversight, and administrative accountability within church security teams. The goal is not legal compliance for its own sake, but creating a disciplined, well-documented ministry that keeps the flock safe and honors the mission of the church.

SOS.26 Attendees can Add-On this 4 hour Pre-Event Ticket, July 22 @ 1 pm - 5 pm Mental health issues you may encounter, identifying/recognizing mental health issues, interacting with emotionally distressed persons and those with mental health issues, de-escalation, protocol for dealing with/assisting homeless persons, identifying community resources. The session would contain both an informational/educational component and an experiential component including role play and practice.
